This Friday (September 24) in Brooklyn New York, The Famous Factory and Sickamore, in association with XXL magazine, are proud to present the latest installment of The Famous Factory Show featuring Joell Ortiz and Diggy Simmons. The show will be held at the Public Assembly in Williamsburg. The show starts at 7 PM and tickets are $20. 16+ so all you young bucks should come out and show your support.
The Brooklyn native Joell Ortiz is fresh off the release of his EP, Farewell Summer. Diggy has also been putting in work recently with the release of his second mixtape Airborne.
The Famous Factory Show provides the Internet’s most dedicated fans an opportunity to see the artists to which they’ve given the heaviest online buzz. In addition to assembling those in-demand artists from all across the U.S., The Famous Factory Show is also meant to open doors for younger audiences, who often don’t get the chance to see their favorite artists perform inside 21-and-older venues.
“I wanted to create an experience for teenagers to experience the artists they helped build on the blogs,” says show founder Sickamore. “Arcades are gone, as well as skate [rinks]. The Factory is that new place for them to get together.”
