Ray Rebel "Rebel" (Video)

Memphis emcee and newest artist on The Daily Cypher Team,

Ray Rebel has been keeping busy the past few months, performing

all over Memphis and promoting his debut project College Life,

which dropped back in November 2011. While fans eagerly await

the new project College Life 2: The Midterm, Ray is holding

them over with some great visuals. First he dropped a video for

his hit single “Weekend.” The video showed the daily life of Ray

in Memphis, the city in which he resides. Now he is treating fans

with a brand spanking new video for “Rebel,” a previous single

from College Life. Directed by Nina Stakz & Sterling Jordan,

the video shows Ray at his finest.

First single off the Brooklyn emcee’s upcoming LP, Cancer For Cure

which will drop on May, 22 via new home, Fat Possum Records. It’s

been five years since his last album, I’ll Sleep When You’re Dead was

released but it doesn’t seem like he’s lost a step. The new project will

feature some big name collaborations including, Danny Brown, Mr.

Muthafukin’ eXquire, Killer Mike and Paul Banks just to name a few.
