Throwback Thursdays – LL Cool J

This week for Throwback Thursday we bring you  LL Cool J “I’m Bad.”  James Todd Smith also known as LL Cool J (Ladies Love Cool James) is a hip hop artist from Queens, NY.  The song “I’m Bad” is the first track on his second album Bigger and Deffer.  The album was selected as one of The Source’s 100 Best Rap Albums.

LL Cool J had a very unique flow when he came out.  His flow was a lot faster than other popular hip hop artists of his time like Run DMC and De La Soul.  This video shows LL Cool J in his prime, before he decided to make the transition to R&B.
