Cypress Hill & Apple Sued For "How I Could Just Kill A Man"

Cypress Hill is getting sued for not clearing a sample for their 1991 hit song, “How I Could Just Kill a Man.” A lawsuit has been filed against Cypress Hill for illegally utilizing part of The Music Machine’s “Come On In” without permission. The group claims they never knew of the song before, which is why the suit is coming nineteen years later. The group is asking Cypress Hill to stop the sale of their debut album and is suing for damages.

A suit was also filed against Apple for selling the song in their iTunes store. The suit was filed on September 10, against both Cypress Hill and Apple, in the Central District Court of California. We will keep you updated if anything else develops.
